Modular Bladeless Thrust Chamber 02 - Concept

Modular Bladeless Thrust Chamber 02 - Concept 3D model

Description

Modular Bladeless Thrust Chamber 02 - Hollow - 360 - Omnidirectional - negative Coanda wing - Concept.

Proudly presented to you by: Dutch Industrial Space Company, another production by the Discfather.

One perfected modular shape to act as a stator, holding multiple turbines together in a thruster ring configuration. the shape can simply be 3D printed and repeated 360 degrees around a central axis, perhaps even the turbine blade and stator etc can be fully 3D printed. note: this is not a functional model, it is demonstrational only. each chamber iteration can be sealed off with chamber walls, or left open of course, but when sealed, the power transfer will be more segregated, focussed. the inner walls inner radius can be scaled inward a little, to compress the incoming airflow even further, making the chamber smaller, thinner, the output tighter, more focused, but i chose not to in this example for aestectic reasons. this configuration and design allows for many individual turbines in as little space as possible, all working in tandem to create a strong, yet invisible airflow. add a couple esc's and gps modules... nice RC option.

i would try cooling a giant barrel of air above or around the system, let the turbines suck in humidified cold heavy air, then the turbines might have a little more work to do, pushing out heavy water droplets as a mist. pre-refrigerated, pre-conditioned air, being fed to the individual turbines will also cool them individually. perhaps we can have electric heating coils or elements inside each chamber, fixated on a space occupying, pressure building ring, to have the air passing it inside the chamber, through the chamber walls, suddenly yet timed, expand extremely as hot exhaust air. to give the output exhaust flow even more speed.

if the chambers were made out of aluminium, perhaps we could even have combustion or a detonition chamber inside.

many industrial applications can be thought of for this type of motor / generator apparatus, therefor experiment, and most importantly, have fun. the concept was quite some work for me to think out and model out completely, hope someone actually likes it.

72 motors, is all it takes. or use less segments like 4 or even 3 in 120 degrees.... . there is no magic when you know the trick.

could even use a single motor and a central gear system, powering the rotor blades all in one go. that would bring it down to 9 perhaps a more manageable number of motors.
