DESCRIPTION

A Basic detail 3D Model of the Historic Fairey Rotodyne commuter aircraft concept that saw limited service from 1957. Capable of Verticle Take Off with jet assisted spin up of the main (Gyrocopter Hybrid) rotor blades, or a rolling start down a regular runway to achieve the necessary lift from the rotor blades and short wings combined. This Model was created in 3D Studio Max R 3 - joined all parts together to create a single object 3DS file for export, which maintains the correct layout of the model for all rendering platforms. A Max 3 animated version is available with rotating Blades (Rotors and Props) but the 3ds version is more adaptable to rendering platforms as a single object.
