Description
The A.W. Albermarle Mk V is the paratroop transport and glider tug version of the Albermarle bomber. This aircraft weas designed to use non strategic materials, being mainly made from wood and canvas with a steel inner framework. The performance of the bomber version was inadequate, however the type went on to be used in para dropping and the towing of gliders in airborne assualts from D-Day onwards by British and Canadian forces.
The model includes layers for landing gear up and down.Polygon counts are approximate & include some subdivided objects wheels and some landing gear components, cowling ring.
