Wren ultralight helicopter
The airframe has been carefully reduced in weight and the fuselage has been reshaped. It is an ultralight helicopter uses Seibel's patented mechanism for simplified pitch control to eliminate the need for a swashplate and reduce weight and complexity. It also uses three heavy duty lightweight pneumatic-tyred castors instead of skids. This saves weight and absorbs shock better. It has a lightweight tubular steel space frame with aluminium sheeting. It is small enough to only need to occupy one space in a motor car parking lot. Like its namesake, the Wren should be a hardy little bird. The colours represent the Irish flag.
