The Bombardier CRJ700 is a stretched 70-seat derivative based on the Bombardier CRJ200. Seat configurations change the number of seats used in each of the different airlines who fly the CRJ700 airliners. These jets are very common in the US, Canada, and Europe The CRJ700 features a new wing with leading edge slats and a stretched and slightly widened fuselage, with a lowered floor. Design work on the CRJ700 started in 1995 and was officially launched in January 1997. It is built in Canada by Bombardier and used by airlines all over the world.
