Description

This model is built very near to scale within a few inches of actual general dimensions, fully textured and detailed. It includes retractable landing gear, animated propellers, detailed engines, animateable control surfaces and accurate paint scheme. This model is available in many formats.

The Martin 202 was one of the first modern airliners. The twin-engine piston aircraft was designed and built by the Glenn L. Martin Company. It was also known as the Martin Executive. The first flight of the Model 2-0-2 was in November 1946 and it proved to be a popular aircraft until the cause of a 1948 crash was found to be structural fatigue in the major wing spar.
