This model was built very near to scale, fully textured and with a good amount of detail. Control surfaces are animateable including flaps, ailerons, elevators and rudder. Landing gear, landing gear doors and propellers are also animateable. A full double row radial engine is modeled in the cowlings and animateable cowling flaps are also modeled. In addition this model comes in a wide variety of formats.
The Douglas DC-7 is an American transport aircraft built by the Douglas Aircraft Company from 1953 to 1958. It was the last major piston-engine powered transport made by Douglas, coming just a few years before the advent of jet aircraft.
The DC-7B had a longer range than the DC-7 and was designed to fly trans-continental routes across the US non-stop, 112 were built.
