This is a fully equipped, high detailed, textured and animated model of a Viking longboat, which I´ve modeled for a 4K-shortmovie.
The boat is modeled in real-scale and is 16m long. Most of the parts are meshsmooth-conform. The scene already contains turbo-smooth modifiers as well as displacement-maps, for cut and used edges.
The sail and nearly all (hires) ropes are animated with mCloth and ready to bake. The boat itself is animated with a noise modifier for a slightly roll. The finn contains fouling with displaced algae, mudd, mussels. There are also some modeled low poly mussels, as well as a bank of barnacles etc. Algae are done with VRay-Fur.
The model and its textures can stand resolutions up to 4k in middle distance and some parts also in closeup. The dragon head is hires, unwrapped and well textured, the neck is textured with a displacement-map. There´s also a low poly and meshsmooth-conform version of the head available for purchase.
Textures are up to 4k and saved as jpg 85%, png or tga.
The mCloth objects work as a Skin-Wrapper for the hires ropes and the sail.
To animated the roll of the boat, just select the mainpole and setup its noise modifier...that´s it. After setting up, just press the simulate button and bake the animation for your liking.
Every object is well named, the scene is divided into separate layers. There are some cameras and a sun inside to immediately get a look, of what you´ve bought.
If you´re searching for a more affordable version...here we go. In my portfolio there´s also a light version of the boat, which isn´t animated and doesn´t contain textures.
In the full version you´ll find a 3DS Max scene (2014, VRay 3) as well as OBJ, LWO, FBX and C4D with all textures etc.
In the light version you´ll find the OBJ, LWO, FBX and C4D-files, no textures, no animation.
The models of both packages are exactly the same!
