The 1937 Paris International Exposition, officially the Paris Second Class General Exhibition, was regulated by the International Exhibition Office and took place from May 25 to November 25, 1937, in Paris, the capital of France. The exhibition was held under the theme of Arts and Techniques of Modern Life. The Trocadero palace was demolished to build the Chaillot palace, which housed part of the exhibition. Pablo Picasso's Guernica was exhibited here for the first time. There was also the presence of the Burgos painter Modesto Ciruelos, one of the representatives of Spain in the exhibition.

La exposición se llevó a cabo bajo el tema de «Artes y técnicas de la vida moderna». El palacio del Trocadero fue demolido para construir el palacio de Chaillot, que alojó parte de la exposición.
