More info about race, fleet and ships that I wrote while developing the models: Clone Fanatic Theocracy = +manpower, +morale, collective, more willing to die to achieve goals agressive, expansionist. Fleet doctrine= Destroyers and cruisers engage first, Main targets are the engines of the larger enemy ships. Capital ships (Dreadnaught/Flagship/WarSun) cannons are ++powerful but shells are slow allowing targets to easily avoid. Capital ships fire at slowed/disabled enemy ships as they approach and then at the rest of the ships as they reach close range. Fighters hold around capital ships and fill the anti fighter role Ship Specs. = The rectangular structures with the spires on top are the bridges/command centers multiple bridges per ship are redundant half cylinder structures are the energy cores. Purple = armor plating, ++thick in the front of each ship. WarSun = 8 Heavy Kinetic Cannons, 8 medium Kinetic Cannons, 8 Hangers, 16 PDC's 4 bridges, 4 energy cores, 4 engines. Heavy guns to fire on slowed/disabled/ close range ships, attempt to use medium guns to disable ships, Will use the front of the ship to ram targets if able FlagShip = 2 Heavy Kinetic Cannons, 2 Medium Kinetic Cannons, 4 hangers, 8PDC's 4 bridges, 2 energy cores, 4 engines. Heavy guns to fire on slowed/disabled/ close range ships, attempt to use medium guns to disable ships, Will use the front of the ship to ram targets if able, If Ship is critically damaged energy core will overload and destroy all ships in a large area around ship. Dreadnaught = 4 Heavy Kinetic Cannons, 2 Medium Kinetic Cannons, 2 Hangers, 12 PDC's, 4 bridges, 2 energy cores, 4 engines Heavy guns to fire on slowed/disabled/ close range ships, attempt to use medium guns to disable ships, Will use the front of the ship to ram targets if able Carrier = 4 hangers, 2 PDC's 1 bridge, 1 energy core, 2 engines. Will try to stay out of the main engagement after launching fighters. Only offensive weapon agianst enemy ships is to ram them. Cruiser = 1 angled ram blade, 6 Heavy Kinetic Short Barrel Cannons, 2 PDC's, 1 bridge, 1 energy core, 2 engines. Rams enemy ships at an angle then fires cannons into hole as it passes. Cannons= ++short range. Destroyer = 1 Forward Ram, 1 PDC's, 1 Bridge, 1 energy core, 1 engine, 2 secondary engines. Rams enemy ship then detonates energy core directing the blast through the nose of the ship and into the enemy ship after raming ship will use the secondary engines to retreat back to the main fleet and use its PDC. After the battle the ship is easily repaired with a new core. Fighter = 1 main cannon, 2 engines main weapon is only effective vs fighters. To damage ships fighter must ram enemy ship and self destruct.
