The PL-10, NATO designation CH-AA-9, is an IR missile developed by China. It is believed to be comparable to the American AIM-9X and Russian R-74. It can be found on the J-10, Flanker family, and J-20 fighter aircraft.
The PL-12, export variant SD-10, NATO designation CH-AA-7 Adze, is a Fox-3 AAM developed by China to arm its J-10 and J-11 and export JF-17 fighters. Roughly comparable to the American AIM-120 AMRAAM, it has a range of about 60 miles.
The PL-15, NATO designation CH-AA-10 Abaddon, is a long range Fox-3 AAM developed by China. It is believed to have a range of over 200 km, comparable to that of the Meteor and R-37, and longer than the AIM-120 AMRAAM. It can be found on the J-10, Flanker family, and the J-20 stealth fighter.
