Italy 3D Topography Provinces Puzzle 3D Model Collection

This project is intended to create the Italy topographic puzzle where each piece is an italian province.
Each province is 1:1000.000 scaled having a latitude / longitude resolution of 1 arcsecond or aproximatly 30.872 m.

Each province contains:

• a _Base model as a simplified geometry with a 3 mm base
  
• a _Shape model as the plane shape of the province that should be used as a base for the _Full model
  
• a _Full model as the 1 arcsecond resolution geometry and could be printed by adding the _Shape or just by rising it from the printing bed for the needed thickness and use 100% support as a base
  
  

In order to achieve best results make sure the layer height is as low as possible and the vertical axis is exagerated to the desired relief.
7x vertical exageration is a good tradeoff for a consistent relief view at 1:1M scale.
