A large collection of 42 Cessna 172 Skyhawk 3D models. Models are built near to scale within a couple of percent of the actual dimensions of the aircraft. These models include many animateable features including ailerons, flaps, elevators, rudder, retractable landing gear and nose gear doors. Propellers are animated. The engine, engine mount exhaust and intake systems are modeled. The cowling can be removed to show the engine and propeller at a moderate distance. This model is fairly detailed and includes the ELT antenna and pitot tube as well as some interior cabin features and controls. Included are the yokes, throttle and engine controls, new instrument panel and seating. Native format is 3ds Max. Models are exported to a wide variety of formats. Exported formats (3ds, lwo and obj) are prepared well to work correctly with every standard modeling software. Compatibility level with other software’s may be limited. Models are textured with multiple large HD maps and provide a good realistic rendering when lighted and animated properly. Models are developed for animation and rendering in-flight. These may be used for other purposes such as a static model to populate an airport scene. Previews were rendered using 3dsmax standard scanline.
Cessna 172 was by far the most successful aircraft in history and was used in 1958 to set the world record for flight endurance.
