Description

Authentic viking and medieval dice set consisting of both cubic 6-sided dice and 4-sided long dice inspired from findings from Gotland, Sweeden. Note that unlike modern dices where the opposite sides add up to seven, the opposite sides of these cubic dice are paired 1 and 2, 3 and 4, 5 and 6 as it was common in the viking age.

The two dice models each consist of a single low poly mesh with non-overlapping UV's, as seen of the images above. The cubic and long dice contains 150 faces, 152 vertices and 300 edges each and are exported to fbx and obj formats. The Maya scenes including the UV'ed dices are furthermore included in the product. The textures are exported for both Unity, Unreal Engine and PBR in 4096x4096 resolution.

The following texture sets are included in the products:

  • Unity: AlbedoTransparency, ambientOcclusion, height, metallicSmoothness and normal map
  • Unreal Engine 4: BaseColor, normal and occlusionRoughnessMetallic map
  • PBR Metallic Roughness: BaseColor, height, metallic, normal and roughness map

For each engine textures can be found for:

  • Three versions of the cubic bone die with different bone variations
  • The same three versions of the cubic bone die with an edge pattern
  • Three versions of the long die with different bone variations without the edge pattern
