Intro
I bet your second half did not think buying a 3D printer is a good idea, well, printing a gift of the vase may prove someone wrong! Highly detailed model of the vase is made in such a way as to allow for modular assembly. You can scale it as you want of course, but modularity allows for smaller size parts to be assembled later on.
Technical Info
Print parts one by one, then just glue them together. If you prefer to use one material, you can print the vase as one solid block (if it fits into your printer of course), this approach is faster and would save substantial amount of support material, which is otherwise needed when printing parts separately. The drawback of printing the vase as a solid block is that you loose aesthetical quality when nicely differentiating curved sections.
