Gato Class Submarine SS-229 USS Flying Fish

Gato Class Submarine SS-229 USS Flying Fish 3D model

Description

These subs are very detailed, high polygon models and render very well. The model has a fully textured design that allows for close-up renders, and was originally modeled in 3ds Max 2013 and rendered with default scanline. It is built nearly scale for an accurate representation of the original object. All textures and materials are included and UVW mapped in most formats. These boats have many animateable features including hatches, guns, rudder, rear and forward planes, antennas and propellers. Water is not included in purchased model.

The US Navy Gato-class submarines were launched during the WWII and were the first mass-production US submarine class. Together with their sisters the Balao and Tench classes, these subs formed the majority of the United States Navy's World War II submarine fleet.
