I purchased this model a couple days ago. I couldn't open the .obj file. Downloaded the .3ds file, the exposed faces were all invisible, and the hidden faces were visible. All the pieces were not joined, The vehicle body came in 2 un-joined halves, that had been subdivided 3 times, also un-joined. I'm still waiting to hear back from the seller, as it's been a couple days. All I want is a .obj file that has not been subdivided into tiny parts.

Not Recommended
I couldn't open the .obj file, was forced to use .3dx file... Total junk! about 100 pieces, nothing joined, body parts in several pieces. I can't use this in it's current state, total waste of my money!!! the tires were also in several pieces. the body was cut in sections, again, not joined as one piece. I'd either like my money back, or a model that is not in 100's of pieces.
